dragonxflare
I am looking to purchase a new RODI 4 stage unit, and was debating between the two: Marine Depot KleanWater 4-Stage Advanced Captive Purity Pro RO/DI Filter System I havent heard much of the Marine Depot unit, and was hoping someone who has it, can chime in. Which one would you guys get? Or would you recommend another one? If so, which brand and why? My price range is around $200-300 Thanks! Link to comment

Spend $240 and get the BRS 4 Stage Value Water Saver Plus RO/DI System - 150GPD, I don't think your going to find a better value out there with it being 150gpd cutting half the waste, Auto shut off, Reservoir flush valve, pressure gauge, digital TDS Meter etc. http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/brs-4-stage-value-water-saver-plus-ro-di-system-150gpd.html Link to comment

dragonxflare
Two very great RODI units from all the reading i've done so far. I've always had a great experience with BRS, and since they are out of state, I do not have tax, so I went with them. Plus I still had my 15% off coupon, so I took advantage of that Hopefully everything works out, and that I don't regret my decision Link to comment

AZDesertRat
Spectrapure hands down. There are no comparisons with the others mentioned. Spectrapure specially treats all their RO membranes proven to increase their performance then eith batch tests them or individually hand tests them for quality control, no other vendor does this. They custom blend all their own DI resins in house so they are the best foir the application and the freshest available and outlasts all others by 30% or more. They use only low micron, absolute or near absolute sediment filters that actualy protect the pores in the carbon block while some others are about as effective as a screen door. They use only capillary tube flow restrictors so you the end user can fine tune your waste to fit your exact water conditions and much more. All these add up to better performance, longer life and a lower cost of ownership. Read the FAQ on their website for much more information as to why theye are different and why that is important to you and why they have been in business for over 25 years doing RO/DI as their primary business. Nothing else whatsoever. I saw that BRS one for $240 sold my original for $75 and when I got it I learned the water pressure in my house was very low from the pressure gauge so bumped that up, I could now see all my filters with the cleat containers, and most importantly the Auto Shut off feature! What an amazing contraption after mopping up so many RO/DI overfills!! Now my Fresh & Salt buckets both have shut off float switches installed. Link to comment
