hwk7072 Posted July 28, 2015 Share Posted July 28, 2015 I just purchased a rack mountable power strip, and was thinking how nice it would be if most things in this hobby could be rack mounted, such as dosing pumps, controllers, etc. The Apex line could really benefit from having a rack mount system rather than have to tack everything up. I have a recording background, and a couple racks sitting around that I may try to rig up for a few pieces of equipment. Anyone ever rack mounted any of their equipment? Link to comment
HarryPotter Posted July 28, 2015 Share Posted July 28, 2015 Problem is that Aquarium Stands are not standardized like recording equipment. My stand is 27", and there and hundreds of different sizes. I like the idea, but besides the DJ power bar its pretty easy to just mount everything inside the stand. (Oh and the DJ power bar is easy too if you drill two holes in the casing and screw them to the stand) Link to comment
