Help? Any advice on saving this fish?

I got a pair of clowns last week and today one is not swimming, just resting on the sand. I fed them and he didn't even attempt to eat. So is there anything I can do? His partner is doing fine, she ate and seems 100% healthy.

Facts-

All levels are solid, 0 nitrates etc. temp is fine 78-79

Last water change was Friday

3 fish live in the tank total, 2 new clowns and a bicolor blenny. The blenny nor the other clown has shown any signs of bullying

The living clown has always been active and interacting w everyone, the dying one has always lived behind the rocks and rarely comes out. I noticed from day 1 he would swim low most of the time and in one place behind the rocks.

Any ideas would be great, I hate to lose this guy but I wonder if anything can be done since he's given up the will to live.

Any other symptoms or signs of disease or parasites? Watch it closely, not eating for a few days isn't that uncommon. However, the behavior that you describe is troubling.

He didn't make it :(

No signs of disease. Maybe he didn't make the transition from one tank to another. Or maybe too many moves too quickly. He had been at the pet store a week when I got him. And now a week here. Either way, he passed during the day so I was able to get him out before he causes a nitrate spike:(

RIP little guy

Sorry to hear that. At the least, it doesn't sound like Ich or another parasite. Poor consolation, but maybe good news for your other two fish.

Sorry for your loss :/

There's a lot of stress for fish when moving from one tank to anther, even with all the correct precautions.
