Can you post some picture and more info?

How long have you had the coral?

How long has the tank been set up?

How is the other coral in the tank doing?

What are the water parameters?

Any parasites?

Welcome to NR, lots of good people and good info on here, just be sure to provide more info when you post looking for help

The pram items are really great in the tank it has been in a 75 gal tank. Have had this coral about six to eight months after noticing the change in the coral removed it cut off the dead part put in a iodine dip and placed back into my 29 gal tank which also has great pram items I see no parasites in the tank either one. No fish in the 29 gal, the 75 only has two fire fish and a lawnmower blenney. Have been trying to move a picture over but tablet won't let come over will try to figure this out. At the time of cutting they was nothing but Skelton on the areas that I removed but today I've noticed that I'm beginning to see more skelton please help

Its looking pretty bad, the slime probably came after the decline of the coral. At this point I would be tempted to try a quick peroxide dip. Perhaps half tank water, half 3% peroxide for 30 seconds.

Even if all the heads die I would place it in the back of my tank and see if it rebounds. I have heard of bubble coral doing this after losing all their flesh.

Bubble corals definitely do this,I got one that was so bad from a tank tear down that I wasn't really sure what it was, after about 3 days it was healthier and I could tell what it was, after a week or so it was really big and full. Biggest piece of coral in my tank now.

It also look like there a few various strains of algae in excess in the tank so I would think that there is some kind of nutrient problems as well which over time could definitely lead to coral demise. Nitrates and phosphates may be undetectable with test kits due to algae soaking up all nutrients. The slime could be algae itself from the looks of it.
