Alexraptor
Found a lot of images of these things while just casually browsing the net today. http://www.amazon.com/Fish-Bubble-Wall-Mounted-Acrylic/dp/B0033SHT00 Obviously they seem to be way too small to keep fish in and keep them happy, but as a reefer the thought that went through my mind was... "wall mounted pico?" I guess the tricky part would be providing circulation and heat. Allthough for over a year I have kept a piece of rubble with some red low-light macro alive along with some tiny worms and pods. Is there such a thing as a no-tech Pico reef? Link to comment
natalia_la_loca
It wouldn't be a reef per se, but I think you could keep Hawaiian fire shrimp (opae ula) in one of those without any special equipment. Link to comment
Tamberav
I would wonder about cleaning the glass/scratches since it looks to be plastic and a difficult shape to clean. It is a cool idea though if you can work out the heating/flow/cleaning. I would try one of those $5 fountain pumps on ebay for flow. I used one in a 0.5g "betta" tank for awhile and it seemed to work well. Link to comment
