pnyf
I'm in the process of setting up a 10 gallon reef tank and was wondering what y'all would recomend as far as bulbs and optics. The tank is a standard 10 gallon and would like to stick to a single bulb. My stocking plans are mostly zoas as well as some mushrooms and LPS coral, as well as some macro alage. Thanks for your help. It looks like a really quality product. Peter Link to comment
Dula
I run a PAR 30 22k bulb on a 12x12 and I love it. For a ten gallon you may need a bit more spread and have to go with a PAR38. Mine kinda spot lights. I think a PAR38 would do great with your stocking plans. Link to comment
smeagol108
Smallest model of the current orbit. For 130 bucks (not too much more than a good par38) u will have controllability. It's a great light for shallow tanks like that. Multiple channels, ramp up and down, and moonlight phases. Easy interface and simple to usd Link to comment
