evilc66
Nano Box Duo is going to be at the top of many suggestion lists. Knowing what your budget is would help with making other suggestions. Link to comment
bmoore92
funny enough I'm not real sure of my budget. Im torn between paying the money for the duo which seems to be the best fit or keeping the tank on a smaller budget and going with a cheaper light. Im looking for all possible opinions so that I could just weigh out all options. Link to comment
hockeyhead019
I'm really leaning towards a photon 24. I really like all the features but it does cost a pretty penny Link to comment

I really like all the features but it does cost a pretty penny photon 24 on a nuvo 20? the 16 would be sufficient. I like the reef breeders lights but I'm looking for something with a smaller profile Link to comment

D Z
4xbulb ATI 24" sunpower. And if you really want to make it nice, do a retrofit with some nanobox led boards to make it a hybrid. Link to comment

I see a lot of people going t5 and led but I'm not sure what the advantages are. Link to comment
evilc66
Higher intensity for the same power used Greater control of spectral output (greatly dependent on the LED setup used) Less heat transmitted into the tank when compared to T5 only T5's have broader spectrums than LED, and as a result can fill in some gaps that are hard to fill with LEDs alone Lower cost of bulb replacement compared to T5 only Adds shimmer when T5's alone normally wouldn't Bragging rights etc...
