ProtectDa2nd
Would a 10 gallon be even close to being big enough for a Melanurus Wrasse? Has anyone had any exp with this? Link to comment
Halo_003
Are you looking to house it long term or QT it? QT should be dandy, long term get to the 50G range and then you're being more fair. Link to comment
wrassegauche17
no, they become stressed in small confines. pacing etc Link to comment
Neebles
That is wayyyyy too small for a melanurus, or most wrasses for that matter. I had a Melanarus in my 75 and he used every inch of that tank. They get pretty big as well. Also beware, there is a good chance you won't be able to keep a clean up crew with one either. Link to comment
CJJon
Bahh, as long as it's gills are wet you will be fine. Link to comment

gulfsurfer101
Lol, I have a melanurus wrasse in my 75 and I feel that the 75 might be too small for it. Sorry, definitely not a good idea. Link to comment
4x5
The Halichoeres wrasses won't do well in that space, they are very active. I just re-homed mine because it grew too big for my tank, it grew really fast as well. It was chilled with other fish but was an absolute beast when it came to eating. It also took out my Cleaner Shrimps and my Sexy Shrimps. Link to comment
teajay33
I used to keep a 6line in my 10g. He lived forever in there. Oddly he lived w two clowns. Everyone was happy. I had another in a 75g and he beat the crap out of everyone and I eventually had to break down half the tank to catch him. Those suckers are fast! Link to comment
