DaveFason
EQUIPMENT : Nano Box Reef DUO Tunze 6020 Vortech MP20 NEOTHERMAL 200w Tunze 9001 Nano Doser ( Installing Soon ) LIVESTOCK/CORALS PLAN : Mixed reef with two pillars. I am running a bare bottom setup and allowing chalices, zoas and a few others to grow on the bottom glass. SPS towards the top pillars. This tank was part of the old Trifecta however after a power outage the tank was hit hard. Only a few survivors including my old clam, Setosa, purple tip, pink lemonade frag and a handful of acans. I picked out a few brown SPS frags from a local to show that LEDs do and can grow/color SPS just fine. This tank will also let me hone in my photography skills. Cleaned up last week and will be documenting the growth of all corals. I am dosing NVOS Aminos, Acropower, Peroxide and Area 51 Phyto. It has a LONG way to go but extremely excited about this one. DaveFason
Just ROX carbon. Like to keep it super simple. Looks great. Good luck. Turning browns into colorful is an awesome feelingRunning anyhing special in the chambers?? It is. I have had it forever and love it. I was so afraid when we lost power for two days that it would go. Just held strong! Well butter my biscuits and call me skippy, Dave finally shows us his tank!! That clam is HUGE! No need to! I believe in my products so why change them. Even though I never sold any Mini GLOWs I will be setting one up to focus directly on the SPS on the right side. I have a few stunners over there and want to high light them. Or I may use one of my BEAM's. Looking awesome Dave. I'm surprised you didn't make a beast of a light for your own tank lol. I know I would have !!!Following along. Link to comment

Hmm probably not available anymore but I'm still curious how it works exactly. Simply put food in the container, add water and then strain out the back. Hand blown glass is just so cool. I feed LRS food, so to be honest there is no need for straining. -D Link to comment
