Fishstiks
Hey all, I am trying to figure out how to add images to posts, such as this, through Flickr. Apparently, I am computer illiterate, becasue I cannot figure it out for the life of me :-) Help!!! Link to comment
onefang
In the reply, or new topic window, click the button in the red circle. In the pop-up, paste the "direct link" address to the image in the URL box. When you click "OK", you should see the image appear in the compose field. Enter any text you want and hit submit.. done! Fishstiks
Ok, So, when I go to Flikr, and look at my pic, I click the little box to grab the link, then do as shown above, but the pic comes up with an X and this site tells me " You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community." Do I need to adjust the link that I get from Flickr? Wow, I am really feeling dumb with all this. It shouldnt be this hard to link a photo, should it? LOL Link to comment
onefang
Hmm.. I don't use flickr. Let me setup an account really quick and see if I can sort you out. Link to comment
onefang
I actually can't seem to get flickr to let me login. For some reason it won't send a proper confirmation code to my mobile phone. Have you tried photobucket or tinypic(I use tinypic and it's pretty simple)? Link to comment
Fishstiks
I iwll try one of those two and see if it will work better. Thanks for the help :-) Link to comment
