Random Death of Fish Am I Worried Over Nothing?

So tonight I found my blackline blenny dead against my mp10. This is very strange because I tested the tank and all is well. He is not new I have had him for around 6 months now and he was eating like a pig even yesterday. This morning too he was doing great! He showed no signs of parasite or infection either. All the other fish in the tank look to me to be healthy. I am just worried that what ever killed this one will spread to my others! Is there something that can kill a fish with absolutely zero symptoms? I haven't even added any new fish for a good 2 months now. He also seemed pretty intact with no signs of "fowl play" from any other fish.

Fish can suffer heart attacks, fish can have a stroke, fish get old, I think as long as no other fish dies too soon all is normal, and all is fine

Yeah I wouldn't be too worried either if everything else is continuing to thrive. Fish can have diseases that show no outward signs of stress but will one day cause it to die randomly.

When we get a critter, we like to believe that it is young, with a long, full life ahead of it. But the truth is we rarely know how old a critter is. This one may have been at the end of its lifespan and had a heart attack or stroke or something.

so true when I catch lizards I don't expect to juice more than 3 years of fun from them since they can be years old when I get them. I like to think of it as a 4 star nursing home for lizards lol.

Just an update, I have not had any other fish die everyone is very healthy. I guess it was just a freak death which is weird because he was not too big and I had only had him for 4 monhts

Sorry about your fish :( I lost a coral beauty recently that I had over a year. He ate that morning and was his normal self, came home and he was dead. That was about a month ago and all the other fish are still thriving. Really odd how sometimes they just kick the bucket for seemingly no reason.
