Thunderstruck34
Hey everyone, after a 3 year hiatus I'm back in the game with a 38g nuvo. Currently using the skkye tablet 30w led and probably will be for some time before upgrading the lighting. Based on what I've read looks like this light will handle softies and Lps but definitely not sps, which i don't think I'd want to do for awhile anyways. Equipment: Koralia 600 Eshopps psk 100h Skkye tablet 30w 14k Livestock: 2-bangai cardinal fish Link to comment

Thunderstruck34
I'm not sure what the difference between the 2 really...does anyone else use this light? What are your thoughts on it? Link to comment
jcreefer
It sounds good! What is the difference between a 38G nuvo and a fusion 40G?Beside the two gallon difference, the Fusion is traditional cut glass panes vs the curved one piece glass. Not sure if the 38 is any more or less prone to crack then the 16 and the 24 models. Link to comment

Thunderstruck34
Thoughts on a kessil 160 for this tank? Prob not doing any sps or clams, would be low light hardy sps like a monti cap if I did so sps Link to comment

Prob not doing any sps or clams, would be low light hardy sps like a monti cap if I did so sps I don't think the kessil 160 will be enough to light your tank (at least not enough effecient coverage for the entire tank). I have a kessil a350w on my fusion 40 and it's just enough in my opinion. Link to comment
Thunderstruck34
Gotcha, thinking the kessil a360we might be a viable option Link to comment
