gus6464
Right outside my door to the backyard I have 3 spigots for hoses. I have no room for an RO/DI unit under my sink so I was wondering if it would be ok to mount one outside next to the spigots? I live in SoCal so weather is not too extreme. Link to comment
seabass
I'd still keep it inside. You can usually find somewhere to put it (maybe a laundry room or utility room). Even a garage would be better. However, I suppose it might be alright if you keep it out of the sun. Link to comment
AZDesertRat
No. Weather, both hot and cold, are very hard on a RO or RO/DI system. The other is direct lighting will cause things like bacteria, viruses and algae to grow in the housings causing a whole other set of problems. Keep it inside in a climate controlled space and out of direct bright lighting. Link to comment
