Uphoric
I'm in the process of setting my old rsm 130 and was looking for ideas to hide the chiller. I can't stand having that horrible looking thing beside my tank :/ I can't put it outside and it won't fit in the stand. So far I've thought of using a table.... That's it, so I wanted to know if anyone had any other ideas. Link to comment
natalia_la_loca
A picture of your tank and the area around it might help people provide suggestions. I just have a chair in front of my chiller, which is good for sitting in and looking at my tank A table might work. Whatever you use, be sure to provide lots of room in the front and back of the chiller to allow for air circulation. Link to comment
Uphoric
Here is my tank Im liking the chair idea, somewhere to just sit and stare in awe Haven't set up the chiller yet but it used to go where the bucket is (doing a water change tomorrow) Link to comment
natalia_la_loca
I could see a small chair there, or a little end table. Here is my tank, chiller is at left. I used foam pipe insulators from the hardware store to cover the water lines that go into and out of the chiller, as they tend to get coralline and biofilm growing inside when exposed to light.
