Ai Hydra different model

Hi everyone! So I have a Ai hydra over my 40 gallon tank right now and I want to get another one to go over the same tank, but everywhere I look online the hydra looks different from mine. I'd rather not have 2 different looking lights on the same tank.

Are there different generations? And what are the differences?

if I can't find another like mine I might have to go with something else.

You have an original Hydra, which was supposed to be the affordable version of the Vega. The OG Hydra was replaced by the Hydra 52. I think your only choice if you want to keep the same unit is to find a used one.

I have the Original Hydra as well, and I have the plastic cover over the fan like the 52.....odd...

You can also upgrade your original Hydra to a 52.

I have had the vega, old hydra, and hydra 52. They all look the same. That pic looks like a sol. What color do you need?

Another option is the Hydra 26 which has more power as your Hydra in a smaller package. Now that the price has been reduced it's not a bad option either.

I have the original hydra in white, I haven't had any luck this past month trying to find the same one.

All the ones I've seen are the new version.

You know I never looked into the 26 because I thought it would be for nanos and be too small, but it looks like 2 would work on my tank.

I may have to consider doing that, now I just need to sell mine.
