Rimless Biocube 29 - LED settings?

Hi,

I've got a rimless biocube 29, and recently mounted and set up an Onyx dimmable LED with my Apex.

the fixture is overall 90 watts with the following LED layout:

14 CREE XT-E Royal Blue

8 CREE XP-G Cool White

4 SemiLEDs Violet UV

1 CREE XP-E Green

1 Oslon 660nm Red

i've got the whole thing mounted above the tank 12" as suggested by the manufacturer.

I initially set this up with an apex light and VDM module with programming from the Neptune forums for sunrise/sunset and weather based on the season tables.

the tank, which currently only has live rock and a couple snails... looks great. But i am not sure if the intensity of the LEDs should be dimmed or not.

I'm new to reefs, although this tank is currently almost 7 months old (letting it cycle, etc while i pulled all my equipment together, programmed the apex, logged it for a week or two with each change to make sure everything was working as advertised, etc.)

I am looking to start with softies, zoos etc and add them slowly to make sure that things are staying in reasonable parameters while i'm learning.

thoughts? feelings? hopes and dreams?
