frank2818
Any one running this thank? Thoughts? ,Pics? I'm Especially interested in the stock lighting that it comes with. "* BridgeLux 3W x 9 bulbs 575PAR LED reef lighting system. Fully SPS and LPS capable". Also if you have any pics of the inside of the stand .Can a ATO container fit ? Link to comment
Mike00726
Just set mine up two weeks ago and cycling now. I'm impressed with the quality. The tank and the stand are pretty solid. The light looks ok, but I can't comment on any coral growth yet. I'll start with this, but, I think that I might switch to a Kessil 360 at some point. I use a 5 gallon bucket for ATO container, and it fits perfectly. The stand is a little higher than the normal ones, so there is a lot of room and it makes a nice statement in the living room. frank2818
Thanks for the reply. Not too much online about this set up. I'm thinking about pulling the trigger but I'd like to see some tank threads or reviews. If you get a chance would you post some pics? Thanks. Link to comment
Dramad1
The stock lighting sucks, save your money for some better lighting. I got the plywood stand and with the shelf in, I can fit a 2.5 gal jug underneath, I refill once a week. Here are some pics Stock lighting, when installed the edges of the tank were shadowy, complete junk and you can find the same light on ebay for just under $50 It does have a separate blue and white switch. This would be good for a small fish bowl. Over the tank, you can see some shadowing on the edges. Inside the stand, my ato bucket sits on the bottom right, just under the shelf. It fits perfect. The shelf is removable The tank, they say it's starfire but I'm not so sure, look at the green tnt to the glass, don't know just my observation Dirty tank shot with a 4x24 ATI dimmable fixture over it,fits perfectly and will grow anything I want to put in it. Way better light choice. Sweet tank, crappy stock lighting, decent stand. Hope this helps Link to comment
