basser1
Will this fit in the CNC case I just ordered?? If not, I'd rather cancel that and put it towards the new one..... Link to comment
HVani
How long are you taking pre orders? I'm out of town the next few days and would like to order when I get home. Link to comment
basser1
O.K., I've seen the features on the Mini. Currently I use the Storm controller. But before I pony up $100 smackers for a new controller, can someone enlighten me on the benefits of one over the other?? Link to comment
CrazyEyes
If the minis only accept the LDD-H drivers, how do these work with the nanobox lights? I know I sound like an idiot but, does Dave run LDDs in his fixtures? Link to comment

But before I pony up $100 smackers for a new controller, can someone enlighten me on the benefits of one over the other?? The biggest feature is the wireless function. The BF also has geological weather simulations and more accurate dimming features. While it won't make your reef any better, it does have some amazing features. Also the OS is very simple. -Dave Link to comment

jedimasterben
What's the difference vs the normal bluefish? Are you using it with a Nanobox fixture? If so, it is $100 cheaper and that's realistically the only difference lol Link to comment

Adam Maskew
Dave had you considered integrating it with your boards in the NanoBox fiture so that there wasn't the need for a second housing, etc? that would be very neet to be able to just unbox your fixture, power it on and insert the imp card and pair. VW_TDI_02
So would you still need the storm controller or just this and the fixture? I'm with Adam too, if you don't need the storm controller, mounting this inside of the fixture would make things a lot easier. It doesn't look very large. Would probably fit pretty easily in the nano box with two sets of LEDs. Not sure about the mini tide. Link to comment
DaveFason
I have been testing a few different ways. The biggest issue is the signal strength. I have a new side cap and slightly larger driver housing I am playing with to see what I can do. Thanks for the input. Adam This replaces the Storm. As well I thought about integrating it in the body however I have been leary of doing this do to salt water splash. Keeping it external gets rid of that problem.
