Most people that keep three or more wrasses have larger tanks and buy them as 1 male and 2 or more females. It can be hard to find female wrasses because of the demand for the brightly colored males. Funkateer_1 Posted February 5, 2015 Share Posted February 5, 2015 I've kept trios of flames, yellow corris, and punctatus. IME one female always seems to tranny out and become aggressive. I see this behavior a lot in captivity. All my attempts to group/pair planktonic triggers, anthias, and genicanthus wound up the same way. My best long term success was keeping 5 bluethroat trigger in a 150 but still wound up with two males after a year and lots of aggression. Link to comment
