CoLoRfUlL_cOrAlS
Hi, does anyone know any good websites where I can find good priced corals without $30 shipping. I would really appreciate some recommendations. in mainly looking for ricordea florida. Link to comment
Partially Submerged
Short answer, no. If you want corals that are alive, you need overnight shipping. And the profit margins aren't high enough for vendors to swallow shiiping (at least that's what they say, and I haven't met any rich coral vendors yet, so I believe it). But there is usually a purchase amount above which shipping is free (usually in the $200 range) or a tiered discount. Or you could purchase locally. If you do go the online route, check out saltcritters.com. I just bought a bunch of rics there for around $7 apiece ($10 apiece and then a 30% flash sale discount). I haven't received them, so I can't vouch for their quality, but I expect to be happy. If you order a bunch, that's a great price even with shipping. Link to comment
CoLoRfUlL_cOrAlS
thank you. I was just kinda tired of paying $30 along with a $10 coral do you know any websites with good ricordeas? Link to comment
Nickbruh510
You can go to uniquecorals.com 15-19$ overnight depending where you live:) Link to comment
CJJon
thank you. I was just kinda tired of paying $30 along with a $10 coral do you know any websites with good ricordeas? But then who is supposed to pay to ship your $10 coral? At $10 the vendor isn't making a dime on the sale. Save up and buy in bigger lots or go in on a group buy with others. Hit up (or start) a local frag swap. Tell you mom you need an extra $125 for your yearbook. Link to comment

GHill762
thank you. I was just kinda tired of paying $30 along with a $10 coral do you know any websites with good ricordeas? yeah, if you're going to order coral online it's not really affordable to buy just $10 worth of coral, and some places (like liveaquaria) actually have a minimum order dollar amount before they'll ship.. if you're ordering online it's the more you order the cheaper shipping becomes per coral. $30 for one coral vs. $30 for 10 corals, that's only $3 more per coral to ship overnight. unfortunately that's just the way it is, coral needs to be overnighted, overnight shipping is expense. the packaging is also expensive (foam cooler, heat packs, etc.). Legendary Corals
You can go to uniquecorals.com 15-19$ overnight depending where you live:) I have no idea how Scott and the team is able to offer shipping for so cheap, they must move through at least 100 boxes a week to get that quote. I wish I could offer shipping for less, but the cost for FedEx Priority is very costly for us along with our extensive shipping methods (anyone's who's ordered from us could chime in one that ). If we could offer $15 shipping, we definitely would. You should go onto FedEx and see the quotes they give you for a small and light box with 10:30am arrival. You'll be very surprised! I'm pretty sure he explained it on one of the forums at one point, I think it's partially built into the coral pricing IIRC.. Link to comment

They are the only ones i went with because of the shipping price and there prices on corals themselfs are great. They even have clams for 30-40 dollars! I got a bonus bag on one order with 5 pink zoas and 3 heads of. A green acan coral! Awesome service as well. They sent me a torch that just didnt look as colorful or gold in the pic and they told me to just keep it or trade it and as a curtesy they sent my a nice neon green torch with 3 heads! A quick glance over their prices seems to confirm that. Prices do seem a bit higher than at many other vendors. Link to comment
