I started my first saltwater tank about 2 months ago.

My setup includes;

20 gallon tall and a 10 gallon sump/refugium

Inside the main tank i have; Ocellaris clownfish, Yellow Tang, Banggai cardinal fish, longs pined sea urchin, hammerhead coral, green star polyp, purple stylophora.

My power head is a 800gph which strangely enough is a perfect current for my fish and coral. Some people would say thats to much and that my fish don't need that much current especially the Banggai cardinal fish where they are native in the ocean there isn't really much current. However everyone in the tank loves the high current.

For my light i have a Aquamana LED 165W full spectrum light panel and i could be happier with it. Being able to adjust the intensity and color helps a lot with my coral and future coral.

Purple Stylophora going through necrosis. Broke it up clued it to a high rock, necrosis still accruing so i added a reef start up kit from Kent Marine and that ended up solving my problem, mainly the calcium.

Update:

Water Chemistry- pH(btw 8.4-8.2), Ammonia(0ppm), Nitrite(0ppm), Nitrate(0ppm), Mg(1340ppm), KH(3.0Meq/L or 8.4dKH), Ca(460ppm)

Roommate put his dying pulsing xenia in my tank, however it died and my tang ate most of it. Was looking around today and found to areas where the xenia survived and were pulsing. One in my show tank in the back and had attached to a rock but someone in my tank is eating the polyps. What blew me away was where i found the second one, in my sump! Made it through the overflow sponge and into the refugium and buried itself in the sand.

Also I found a blue/white small starfish in my main tank, have no idea where he came from...

Then not even a minute later after eating algae he hid in the crevice

Also I don't know what this is coming out of the live rock, i bought from an aquarium store, any thoughts on what it could be?
