Is this Black band Disease?

Hi, new to the hobby here. Just wanted some opinions on this.

 

I think it may be a branching porite. Its practically dead, most of its white but it still has some yellow parts to it (maybe some of it still alive?). Is it worth trying to revive?

 

Also its developed these black blotches on it and fear that it might be some kind of a contagious disease. Also the green on it is likely to be hair algae, as I have a pretty bad infestation.
