robbie_boy Posted January 23, 2015 Share Posted January 23, 2015 I'm running the rapid led Par 38 LED bulb on my 6 gal with the following colours 6 Royal Blue, 2 Neutral White, and 2 Cool White, and 2 UV. the site says it is around 17k - 20k So if you want to get 12-15k you would have to use equal amount of white as blue. Neutral white carries enough green and red colour to help small tanks out so I wouldn't stress about getting other colours in there besides white and blue and maybe a UV if you want. This is what I used on my 8 gal build 5 royal blue - cree XP-E 3w2 blue - cree XP-E 3w2 neutral white - cree XP-G 5w2 cool white - XP-G R 5w2 UV good luck Rob Link to comment
