ps2cho
There is one rock in my tank that I cannot seem to destroy all the aiptasia on...I cover it in aiptasia-x...and a few days later a dozen more little ones spawn. The rock is one of the very few that has a lot of corraline algae on so I don't want to just toss it. Is there a way to remove the rock and dip it in something that will kill the aiptasia, but keep the corraline? Link to comment
Jerzeedevl
Hmmm....i used lemon juice to kill my aptasia. Filled a syringe with it and squirted it all over the aptasia while in the tank. Turn off all pumps btw. This trick has worked great for me. I've tried the boiling water trick but that didn't seem to work. People also have success with the kalk paste, but I haven't tried that yet. The lemon juice i used comes in those little plastic lemon containers. Link to comment
