Any fellow Vegas reefers willing to let me borrow your TDS Meter for a day?

Hey guys want to test my the water from the lfs I usually buy from. I'll give you a deposit for what the unit costs so not to be worried.

A TDS meter is like $20. You should make the LFS test it in front of you. If they can't or won't then I would not get water from them.

 

Never trust the LFS water (or any water for that matter--always test).

+1 on both things. TDS meters are super cheap. I wouldn't put ANY water in my tank before I tested the TDS in it(which only takes a couple of seconds).
