Normang
I am looking to set up the IM Fusion 20 gallon long tank the middle of next year. I will also purchase the InTank media baskets and fuge. Right now I can get the tank and InTank media filters/fuge on sale for 15% off. Id be saving around 42 dollars in all. My question is, should I buy them now since they are on sale, or wait until I set up the tank? How often do these sites have decent sales like they are having now for thanksgiving? I hate to buy the tank now and then see something better come out before I set the tank up. Your opinions will be greatly appreciated. Eric Link to comment
Arkayology
The next time you might see a sale is Memorial Day Weekend and 4th of July, and there's no guarantee what the sales will be. I always try to hold out until this weekend every year to buy big $ equipment if I need it. Link to comment

Normang
This is the biggest discount of the year Hey Stevie, I know I will go with your Intank products, but should I wait until you build a fuge basket for the 20 gal fusion (I was the one that emailed you about it a week ago) or will having a 1 inch gap in between the fuge basket and the filter walls be okay? Could I use that 1 inch gap to put my cobalt neo therm heater in that gap or would there not be enough room/having the heater right next to the fuge is a no go? Thanks for your help! Link to comment
skripo
I just got $200 off of an Innovative Marine Fusion 40. Cost me $299 SHIPPED!!!!! I am not sure how many are left or if I can mention the site because they are not a sponsor. I can say they are probably the biggest and most comprehensive aquarium retailer on line. Just bought 2 of his Fusion 40 baskets. Too much of a noob to know if really need 2. Link to comment

I would get what we have now because you won't see a sale like this for a looooong time We do not have the IM20 tank in yet and there are other projects in front of it so there is no set date on a specific fuge basket. Those are pretty specific questions I can not answer, The cobalt would fit in a 1" gap, chaeto is clumpy and holds together, think of it as less than 1/2" on each side Our BIocbue 29 fuge basket has gaps on each side, doesn't effect that tank at all. Normang
Stevie thanks for your response, I really do appreciate it, especially with it being on Thanksgiving. I hope to pull the trigger on your 2 media baskets with fuge package this weekend. Have a great thanksgiving Link to comment
