LED "BAR" for accent...

Any ideas if the 3w GU10's would work for adding some pop and shimmer to t5's? Im running 6xt5's and have 12 of the royal blue gu10's just sitting around doing nothing. Would it be worth the effort to make a "bar" of them spanning the length of my tank? Or would they be over powered too much by the t5's and be unnoticeable?

Glad you guys told me to try. Im using 11 3w gu10 RB's. Just slapped together a ugly pvc fixture/holder for them but in person the pop is amazing! I was able to remove an actinic t5 and replace it with a 12k which I like.

So this is with 2 b+, 1 true act, 1 coral+, 1 act, 1 12k and 11 gu10's. The last pic is with just the gu10's.

After running this two days at 6 hours my setosa has started bleaching really fast. Hadn't thought about needing to go slow and acclimate. Any tips? I can't really raise them so should I limit them to maybe 5 gu10s? Or should I just not use them?

cut down the hours on your T5, adding one of the led bulbs per week is just going to spot light each small area with high PAR. How long are you running all 6 T5?

I run all t5's for 6 hours. Im not running lenses on the leds.

I cut back to 5 gu10's and have them running now. Very week in comparison to what it was before.
