Thomas898
Your levels are completely fine, don't start dosing or you will run into problems.. Weekly water changes of around 15% are usually enough to keep those levels up, most salt mixes contain additional amounts of these trace elements. CA should run between 380-480, mag between 1300-1500, KH between 8-11. My levels read similar, I change 15% water weekly and I have never dosed my tank and don't plan to start doing so. Your tank is as stable as it needs to be. Link to comment
CronicReefer
All your levels listed are completely normal. Unless you are growing sps/lps coral there is usually no need to dose any elements. And always test before you dose if you ever need to one day. Link to comment
Steve973
You listed your levels, but what makes you think that things aren't stable? Are these levels fluctuating wildly over time? What makes you think that you need to dose? What types and quantity of livestock do you have? Do you use an auto-topoff? More details, please! Link to comment
jestep
Do you have past measurements and additions? The static levels look fine, but if alk was 4 yesterday and 11 the day before (exaggerating here), that's definitely not stable. Link to comment
bob115
I'd tend to agree with the previous posts. I would pick a time that you can measure every day, and just measure the tank every day for a week. This should give you an idea of what's going on. If indeed you have enough calcification that levels are significantly being depleted, then you would want to dose. The cool part? Since you now have a week of data, you know pretty well how much of each your tank consumes in a given period of time. Dose enough to match that. Keep tabs on it every now and again, especially if livestock changes significantly (more or less calcifying coral). Link to comment
