Wjcastiglione
So I went to my LFS today and got ten gallons of RO for a water change. This water is 100 degrees. No joke. It's hot. It's on my front door in michigan trying to cool down. I've never gotten Hot RO before. Is this normal? Link to comment
CronicReefer
Definitely strange because most membranes are not designed for hot water. Maybe they keep their tank next to a heater. Link to comment
AZDesertRat
RO membranes are damaged at anything above 113 degrees which isn't really all that hot. I would check the TDS before using it as they may have ruined their RO system by warming the water in an attempt to increase GPD. Link to comment
CrazyEyes
Or maybe they keep it heated incase they need to make saltwater with it. Link to comment
