kimberbee
What the heck is this?!? https://flic.kr/p/pKyZgE'>https://flic.kr/p/pKyZgE'>10620519_10100835905470937_630887964087274011_n by https://www.flickr.com/people/33693274@N00/'>kimothy182, on Flickr It looks like little styrofoam balls and almost tan speckled, but there's NO reason that should be in my tank. It moves kind of like a snail, and doesn't blow off easily if I squirt water at it with a turkey baster. Of course, my macro lens is at my BF's so this cell phone pic will have to do. Link to comment

kimberbee
But do sponges move? I'm pretty sure these are snails. I got my macro lens and they have a spiral shape and are cruising around the rocks. Pretty cute actually! Link to comment
hypostatic
I wouldn't worry about them. Sounds like limpets maybe? Link to comment
kimberbee
I only have 3 snails in my display, so I figured the likelihood they would reproduce was very low. But then I always forget that I have "weird stuff" hanging out in my back chambers. They are probably snails of some sort, but I haven't seen them again... Link to comment
