rimless? low iron?

do you have a link?

NanoCube 28 gallon.

With rim, with lid, with iron.

To OP,

Drs has one with stand but PC lights for $319 shipped.

The RapidLED retro is pretty antiquated now, its only half Royal Blue and Cool Whites (5 years ago that was in).

Second, curved glass tanks, like the NC28, have a notable tendancy to crack because of the curved corners. IM tanks were the same, they have stopped production of curved glass tanks and are now only making silicone seamed tanks. There is a massive amount of stress energy that is stored in curved or bent glass, and if not annealed properly they can crack spontaneously, at 3AM or when youre at work.

My NC28 cracked, so I will not get another. But if they were the only tanks available, I would pass on the used tank, I would get the new one from Drs Foster and get a 2 puck retro(Duo?) from Dave at NanoBox.

Other than that, I would pass on the NC and get an AIO from PicO Aquariums with low iron glass and seams. And then get a NanoBox from Dave. (I make my own lights, but if I didnt, thats what I would do).

I got a used biocube and stand for $100. Great deal.

However, I hate the curved glass, it's used (I'm the 3rd owner) so it has lots of scratches, and now I'm super into the hobby and wish I had something better.

I think that if you are new to the hobby and unsure about spending a lot on something you want to try out, there are plenty of options and this is an ok deal.

Otherwise, go for something way nicer like a PicO!
