Expanded protection for U.S reefs

Hi all,

I'm know there's recently been a lot of discussion regarding potential new laws on protecting certain corals and the impact on the hobby, but, here is some awesome news on a recent expansion of the protected area in the pacific for the purpose of preserving the reef there.

 

While, I'm not sure what impact this will have on our aquariums, ultimately I think this is a step in the right direction and hopefully it will keep our reefs (and our hobby) safe for generations to come.
