xXReeferXx
What is the minimum tank size you guys would say for these guys and why?Is it because they are waste producers,so much food, and also what are the requirements for them? Link to comment
clownfitch
We catch tiny sargassum grass anglers at the beach from time to time. I mean like dime sized and even smaller. At that size there is no reason that they can't be housed in a pico. The problem with those guys is that they grow really super fast so they would outgrow the tank very quickly. As far as requirements, they are ambush predators so they need something to hide in or amongst and need to be fed live marine food of adequate size in comparison to themselves. They can and will eat any fish/ shrimp that will fit in there huge mouths. I have heard of them being trained to eating frozen foods also but to me that takes away from having them to begin with.
