This is about my new 40g and had is fish tank first and then reptile and then the bearded dragon passed not too long ago almost month or so. Then i wanted wanted to feed the addiction of having a 40g tank and so that more room to play with this one and make it fish/reef tank. Filtering: Eheim 250 biological (sub in matrix carbon by seachem and Matrix substrate) Skimmer: JNS ICE cyclone (mine is on back order so doing more frequent water changes till it comes.) Lighting Zoomed 24" - 36" Radion X30w Pro (LOVE it) Water movement -Vortech mp10w ES (thinking of getting one for my 16g tank) Sand/Liverock: -20lb white live sand agra -10.0lb Cured liverock(will add more at little bits before I add fish) Inverts: -turbo snail -hermit crab -nassurus snail Fish: -3 Clowns -blue spot jaw fish -algae blenny Coral: -Orange rich -amazon mushroom - cream and yellow rock flower anemone -Three different zoas range of different type from -2 Orange lobo - red mushroom, Green amazon mushroom and blue. Made it long time ago can't remember with my father but tank was too big for the stand so i made hardwood top to it and screwed it in and was lucky to find a spray paint the same color. I was more scared about putting a tang in because i had over growth of hair algae and i was going to add more fish after and tangs have more territorial I know it because I study them. The foxface is doing good and if he gets too big will bring him back to my work or buy a bigger tank hehehe What are the dimensions of this thing? 36 1/2 L X 18 3/8 W x 14 H Love this one Quote Link to comment

I feed them frozen brine and Seachem Zooplankton ( they eat it no problem THANK GOD ) i am happy will get the picture off my phone might have to take out my sally foot crabs because seems that they are clipping the tails (grrrrrrr) Quote Link to comment

I had a lot of die off and corals get lost and crabs eating half of my fish getting eaten. I have so far added; tiger tail sea cucumber and blue spot jawfish. tank is moving to more stable rate than before everything is happy such as corals and fish and inverts. I have waited 2-3months of water changes during the summer till I added more things into the tank. 1 Quote Link to comment
