injen57
hi i fairly new to 2 part since my tank needs to be dosed now, my tank is filled with mushrooms some lps and some sps like monipora. in a 17 gallon tank with a 20 gallon sump. been running for 2 years now. i started dosing 2 part because it levels was going down faster than my water change can replenish. i read this website http://joejaworski.wordpress.com/2014/05/19/the-right-way-to-use-2-part-additives/ and was wondering if anything can vouch about the part where Yikes! The first reaction from most aquarists is that I need to add alkalinity buffers. In fact, you don’t need alkalinity buffers, you need more two-part. At this point, I raised the dosage to 20ml each per 25 gallons.becasue my tank also went over 500 in calcium but stayed a steady 8.3 alk. and i was scared so i let it so back down, but things started not to look so good.. the point is that should i have followed the website and dose more? SouthFlorida_Tron
What do the directions say on the bottle of the 2 Part you are using? Why go to a random website for instructions? Link to comment
