Well after moving and selling my 40b i decided to get the Nuvo Fusion 20. I will try to update as much as possible.

Im Nuvo Fusion 20

Regular aquarium stand

Ai Vega Color with Wireless Controller

Diy Light Mount

Hydor Koralia 425

Accu-Therm Heater

Stock Return Pump

15lbs Tonga Rock

1 Green/ Purple Mushroom

The rock was fully cycled from a local reefers tank she sold me the rock for $20, cheap i think. I see a bunch of tiny pods swimming around, the shroom also came on the rock has opened up nicely. Ill be testing my water today to see whats going on.

Ordered this last night when i almost flooded the rear chamber using an aqualifter to top off manually and forgot about it... Not going to risk that again!

The tunze nano is still the best.

I really hope so i was going to go with the jbj to save a few bucks, but i figured it probably wasnt worth it.

Alright ill get it straight ;), i was looking at your build i like what you did to the mesh ill probably steal that idea. Any other tips/ mods you have? I was thinking really hard about the mp10 and right now with the koralia 425 the flow seems good.

Tested my water today this is what i got:332b71v.jpgNitrite - 0Nitrate - 0-5Ammonia - 0PH - 8.0 to 8.2Alk - dkH 9.0Cal - 420Mg - 1200

Thanks, i hope to start putting live stock soon.

Just started on 8/18. Don't rush it. That tonga rock is really nice and I am sure there will be some sort of die off in it. The scape is simple and roomy! Let it cycle.

So can you fill me in on how you built the light rails, I'm needing to do the same thing. So I'm trying to figure something out.

Yeah pretty easy, used 1" pvc with 1" elbows and 1" conduit hangers 2 for the light and 4 to attach the pvc to the stand.

Yeah they do look cool sleek, i dont have the skimmer but have heard they are noisy. Am planning on going skimmerless but only time will tell.

Yeah was reading egginis' response on the skimmer wonder what he will do about adding a different pump. This looks nice and I love the lower scape, I wish you good luck I'll be here watching

The Ghost skimmer is easily the noisiest part of my tank, BUT it isn't ridiculously noisy...The micro bubbles are what I can't stand...

The micro bubbles will subside with time. Mine cleared up after about 3 days. The pump rattles and is too loud if you plan on putting it in a bedroom. Wish I could put a silencer on it. On the Plus side, it removes waste pretty well which is what a skimmer is supposed to do.
