6040 is controllable. The 6020 is not but much cheaper

Any idea when the 6040's will be released? Flow on the 6020 is too much for my tiny tank.

There are small pieces right above the impeller. No different than a mp10 or koralia. Healthy Fish don't swim into moving impellers.

6040 will be in stock in a few weeks.

Is the 6040 in stock yet ? I have the 6020 and wanted to upgrade to a controller type

Good question, we were supposed to get them when they were.

I will check with Tunze

Is this the controllable model or is that the 6040?

do you know if the 6020 can be put on a wavemaker? looking at possibly using a couple of these in a CL 45g Artisan.

I don't think the 6020 can be:

The Turbelle® nanostream® 6020 is a non-
controllable synchronized motor pump with a very

gentle circulation performance

The 6040 yes. You might want to shoot Tunze an email to confirm.

6040:

The pump is therefore able to

operate together with other pumps, for example,
in the high/low tide mode. If the Moonlight 7097.05
(not included in the scope of delivery) is attached to
the Turbelle® controller, the night-mode operation
will be activated automatically. If this controller is
connected to a second controller with the 7092.300
cable, a further pump can be connected and
controlled, for example, to provide a wave pounding
simulation or an oscillating current. A third controller
can be added using the Y-adapter cable 7090.300.
