Squared
I can't tell, is there something covering the impeller to protect fish from getting hurt? Link to comment
jolee0722
No. That is to direct the flow to wherever you want. Link to comment
Squared
I know what it does. I'm asking if the blade is protected, under the flow director. Link to comment
jolee0722
Oh. I think there is something like a thin cross on top of the impeller to protect fish. Link to comment
StevieT
There are small pieces right above the impeller. No different than a mp10 or koralia. Healthy Fish don't swim into moving impellers. 6040 will be in stock in a few weeks. Link to comment

I don't think the 6020 can be: The Turbelle® nanostream® 6020 is a non- controllable synchronized motor pump with a very gentle circulation performance The 6040 yes. You might want to shoot Tunze an email to confirm. 6040: The pump is therefore able to operate together with other pumps, for example, in the high/low tide mode. If the Moonlight 7097.05 (not included in the scope of delivery) is attached to the Turbelle® controller, the night-mode operation will be activated automatically. If this controller is connected to a second controller with the 7092.300 cable, a further pump can be connected and controlled, for example, to provide a wave pounding simulation or an oscillating current. A third controller can be added using the Y-adapter cable 7090.300. http://www.tunze.com/fileadmin/gebrauchsanleitungen/x6020.8888.pdf Link to comment
