Smithjm5
Hey everyone, wasn't sure where to post this but for all you central Virginians there is a new Saltwater fish and coral shop opening up across the street from where I work (uh oh lol) called Tiki Corals. They say on their Facebook to be opening sometime this month. Just thought I put it out there since there aren't a lot of places closer than a 30 min drive (for me) that I know of so I hope this helps someone close by find a LFS. Here's their Facebook page! - https://www.facebook.com/TikiCorals Link to comment

brad908
You ever make the 2 hour trek up north? There are some good stores in the NoVa area. Exotic Reef Creations is in Maryland, but he gets some killer stuff if you're into LPS. Link to comment

WAMAS is a pretty good club to join. It is geared towards the DC area, but they have big frag events and other events, so could be worth your time to drive up for an event. Members are pretty cool too. Link to comment

I would say sometime before December, I was in there the other day and looked like the majority of work is done. The store is going to be nice because he started it with a hobbyist mindset and he's going to be offering stuff that other stores may lack. They're good people so I'm looking forward to shopping there in the future. Link to comment

If they open this month that would be crazy awesome. You're lucky to have nice store across the street from you but unlucky at the same time. Link to comment
