andersonkc
I am thinking about doing a re-scape, what are some things I should know and have ready to make it easier and less stressful on all involved? Reasons for Rescape: Move some coral around Better rock placement for flow Move rock with mushrooms away from other rocks - spawning tooooo many. TANK INFO It is a Nuvo 8. 1x Yellow Clown Goby 2x Sexy Shrimp 1x Duncan Coral Multiple Mushroom Coral (like 25) Multiple Zoas 1x Candy Cane Coral Live Sand Live Rock 8-12lbs Link to comment
JavaJacketOC
You'll probably stir up some detris that's trapped in and under the rock...it may require a very large water change. Determine how you want to place the rocks before you start moving stuff around and take some detailed pictures of how your rocks are placed now just in case you don't like the new scape and want to revert back. Your tank is small so it probably won't be an issue but I've forgotten how things went a few times and had to find pics, lol. Also, have holding tanks ready for your live stock...I did some moving of things in a small tank and literaly lost a small goby. No idea where it went or what happened to it...just vanished. andersonkc
Right on. Thanks Java. I have a holding tank set up for some frags that I am cleaning up (aptasia and bubble algae on frag plug - moving to rock rubble). Link to comment
