Thinking of switching salt

I've been using Red Sea coral pro since my tanks been up about 2 years and considering a swap. I have a mix of zoas, lps and sps.

Some brands I was considering was the tropic Marin bio or the esv. Unless anyone has any other recommendations. 1 downside to the bioactif is I know they say to benefit from it you need to use it the day you mix it. Sometimes ill make a batch and store in jugs so I don't need to make water for a couple weeks. But not really a deal breaker for me if its that much better of a salt.

Params I try to maintain are 10dkh alk and cal at 450ppm.

Can't speak to params, but I recently switched to Neomarine Precision Salt and my corals look noticeably better. I've mixed it one week prior to use with no ill effects. Recommended!

Acclimation continues to be a big deal for saltwater tanks.

Perhaps you want to introduce new saltwater a little bit each day?

Wouldn't want to shock the corals, inverts, etc.

Absolutely. That's y I'm trying to decide while I still have a half bucket of coral pro

IO reef crystals always tests out to parameters your are seeking. I roll the bucket to mix the salt up, as it does tend to settle. It's readily available so in case of an emergency you can always go to petco or petsmart.

I am still using instant ocean and love it. If you are using any type of additive such as 2 part or a calcium reactor, chances are you are adding everything you pay extra for with high quality salts. I know of many LFS that only use instant ocean. Just food for thought!

Ive seen some nice tanks using tropic marin. I believe one of the larger lfs uses it in there systems and they always look amazing.
