Mushroom on Zoa

So I got a small colony of zoas and didn't realize until the next day that it had a mushroom on it. How do I get it off without injuring either one?

try to cut/scrape the rock under the foot as opposed to cutting the foot if you can.. that will keep the foot from growing back in the same spot, it'll also give the shroom a little better chance of surviving.. it should survive either way though..

 

gloves and glasses are so you don't get any zoa/paly juice in your eyes or in cuts.. that stuff is nasty.. and as always, wash your hands before touching your eyes or anything else you care about..

You can also try using a bone cutter to cut the little piece of rock under the mushroom.
I usually nip at the rock with my bone cutters to only take small chunks off

This works for me too.
