aviator300
I have a small Zoa frag in my tank that has grown some kind of hair on it. It doesn't look like hair algae but I suppose it could be. Whatever it is, i've tried to pull it off and cut it off but it comes back. In the photo, the hair is in a clump on one side of the frag and hard to see because it's transparent. Could someone help ID it and help me decide how to get rid of it. Would some kind of peroxide or iodine dip help? Link to comment
Red_Blenny
Looks like Bryopsis. A hydrogen peroxide with tank water should be able to kill it (or at least, delay it's growth). Link to comment
