Muraki
Currently won't be adding anything else to the tank (frags and such). I just want to add a few as towards my clean up crew. I have kept an eye out for the past 5 months for any in my tank hoping to have gotten some within my live rock and have seen no signs of any. Hoping for 5-6 micro brittle's maybe more. Thanks! ryanwongg
i have a lot of the red variety that gets to the size of a quarter and also a lot of the tan/white variety that don't get bigger than a nickel. i'd be willing to ship you some for cheap, but i just don't know how i would pull them from the rocks without just taking their legs.. Justind823
Just a heads up. In my experience with them they never lasted the priority mail shipping time. It does seem like they would be hardy enough for a longer travel time but I never had good luck. I have a bunch but they aren't worth shipping unless you are in the area. Link to comment
GlassHouse
I can easily sell you 6 micro brittle stars for like $25 + shipping. I'm in Northern California. PM me if intereted. Link to comment
Muraki
Thanks to all those that PMed and posted. Working a few things out with a couple of people currently. Just a heads up. In my experience with them they never lasted the priority mail shipping time. It does seem like they would be hardy enough for a longer travel time but I never had good luck. I have a bunch but they aren't worth shipping unless you are in the area. Will take your advice! Trying to figure something out to get them to arrive alive. Link to comment
Tamberav
I bought micro brittles online 4 times and 2 shipments died in priority and the other 2 shipments made it in perfect health. Probably depends on the weather/temp flux. Link to comment
Muraki
Ryanwongg did a very good job and sent me a small piece of live rock with a large variety within. They arrived very much alive and have already been migrating to my main live rock. I have one more shipment coming in with a variety of macro algae and micro brittles, so I have my fingers crossed that those come in alive and well! I bought micro brittles online 4 times and 2 shipments died in priority and the other 2 shipments made it in perfect health. Probably depends on the weather/temp flux. Thanks for the heads up! Thank you to all those that have responded to my thread! Link to comment
Muraki
The other shipment arrived around 11:30am today sent by rafastank727. After acclimating for an hour on a drip, everything was alive and well, including the 8-10 micro brittle stars. The pack job was incredible. Everything was tightly sealed and snugged into the box so very little could get squished or shift around. Thanks again! Link to comment
