John, you're a funny man...

Got a package from John today.

John always takes great care to make sure things are packed well in his packages:

The barnacle clusters were wrapped in Korean newspapers and dish paper and precisely one styrofoam peanut for good measure. (Maybe he's trying to compete with Stevie's Swedish Fish in every box?)

As usual, ordering six of anything results in a dozen or more of that species, and despite his protestations that it's in case of DOAs, every single snail wakes up instantly upon touching the tank water. (Seriously, the nerites all were shut in the bag but had foot fully extended in the time it took to get them from the waterline to set them on my rockwork, and then immediately grabbed hold.

As often seems to be the case, not only can John not count, but he can't even identify species. There were three limpets in the bag of ten (35-ish) dwarf planaxis. Even though this was a 2-day ship (instead of overnight), the limpets also immediately grabbed the glass as soon as I placed them.

I don't know how he stays in business, but as long as he is, I know exactly where my CUC will be coming from.

ahaha thanks for the laugh, OP.

I'll definitely be ordering from him when I have need of a larger cleanup crew.

He's the best.

All my CUC comes from him. I usually buy a quick crew rated for a 20L and then split it between my two tanks with all the extras he throws in.

Great post :) and a great man. I have not seen a customer service like his ever. He probably gets 100s of orders a week and he is personally replying to all of them and Actually remembers what you talked to him about. Unbelievable. Awesome order, well satisfied, and already placing a second order within a week. What more you can say about a seller. :)
