DaLy
Hi! I'v been looking around this great forum for quite some time now.The information I found here has helped me quite a bit with my reef tank. This is one of my first posts mainly because I don't think my 75gallon tank fits in the "nano" definition...Alas! My GF and I are converting the FW tank in the office to our first nano reef Tank: Fluval Edge 46L(12gal)Lighting: DIY3 Royal Blue Cree XR-E 450~455nm @750ma (looking to find 440nm LEDs)3 White XP-E 6500K @350maFiltration:5Gallon SumpLive rockChaeto Carbon GFO Toilet float style ATO Livestock: Inverts: 2 Maxi Mini anemones Wish Sexy Shrimps Wish Pom pom crabs Corals: FrogspawnOrange Ricordea Yuma 2 Pink/Green/Orange Ricordea YumaZoanthids CUC: 1 Hermit Crab 4 Snails Current FTS(11/01/16):In it's works Full Room Shot Link to comment
DaLy
Back from various holiday visits update! We were quite stressed to leave all our tanks unattended for over 10 days, for the holidays. But, they have all passed the test! Yay! All the critters in the 75g are well, just one small frag was missing, but it was found after cleaning the glass. Perky here had tons of some sort of green hair algae all over the DT glass, but none on the rock! Plus not much GHA in the sump, although the ball of chaeto is huge. I can see quite a few flat worms in the sump... Hope they aren't bad ones... I should head out and get 2 small blue hermits and a few snails this week... if time permits. Here is a pic of the tank before cleaning; Yuck! Link to comment

DaLy
Great looking setup! I like your plans for this tank!!!! Thanks, I hope it will turn out ok too. My plan was a low bio load to keep maintenance low We do also have a 75gal reef a 9gal planted My main concern now is that we are planning a long (2 months) trip; scuba diving in honduras. Gotta make plans to keep everyone happy and stop buying livestock. ________________ On an other Note More pics, I transfered some inhabitants since the nems aren't moving. DaLy
I got my first zoo fraging experience last light. I wanted to slice of a pice of rock off this blue colony, to better fit in the rock work. It's rock is huge!... Turns out the rock is this s***** friable non carbonate stuff. Just fell in pieces. So I fragged the colony to 5-6 frags! Victory! they are all open today. I'll wait a week for the to heal before I transfer them to Perky here. Link to comment
