2.slowduo Posted December 24, 2009 Share Posted December 24, 2009 so this tank has been around a long time it was given to me about 6 years ago or so,and it was my 1st try at salt water since 1992 this was how it started in 04 then as you can imagine the once tiny clown trigger outgrew a 20g so I got a 46bow that tank was lovely and great fun,but I has to put it into storage when I moved back to asheville I also started a 10g sexy shrimp tank while in wilmington so when I moved back to the mtns I moved the sexy shrimp\panda goby 10,and some of my favorite pieces from the 46 and got the 20 extra tall out again Link to comment

2.slowduo Posted December 24, 2009 Author Share Posted December 24, 2009 some sexies hangin out fuzzy green making my new toadstool look small don't know why this colt chose here to live that was how it looked last week,last friday12\18 we had a winter storm and lost power for 36 hours I do not have a generator so tank temps went to 47 degrees sadly all my fish,snails,and 2 sexy shrimp perished luckily it seems all coral,all crabs,and 2 of the sexy shrimp made it through ok dont have any pics yet of the rearrangement since cleaning the carnage out but I am going to the lfs today to get some new inhabitants,so it wont be long Link to comment

2.slowduo Posted December 27, 2009 Author Share Posted December 27, 2009 picked up an emerald crab,a flame scallop,and a cling fish(goby?) the other day not so happy I got the scallop,after I did the research,I hope he does ok. any advise would be helpful the cling fish is pretty cool moves really cool,dragon like. really small,has not bothered the sexy shrimp lfs did not have much info on this guy,and I cant really find much info either seems they love to eat the random mussels that hitch hike in I have seen this behavior,in the last few days. hope to have pics soon also got some gift certificates,to the LFS so things will be had,I need some peppermints and I would like to try a monty Link to comment
