Looks like you need some sort of surface skimmer or more surface agitation, lots of film building up that you'll want to correct. Edit, i see a skimmer input, maybe try lowering your water level

Tank is now 8 months old. And the substrate is Live sand from the Gulf. I got the package from Tampa Bay Saltwater.
