smarcus3
****** I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY DAMAGES, ISSUES, ETC. THAT THIS GUIDE MAY CAUSE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED ******* I have used siphons to ensure equal water level between two tanks before but wanted something more robust. So I came up with the following design. It uses a Tom's aqualifter pump to suck any air out of the siphon to always keep it liquid filled. The tube is created from a j pipe tubing at home depot or lowes. Once constructed a hole with the same diameter or slightly smaller or an airline is drilled into the top of the 'u' Once drilled airline is stuck into the hole and super glued to ensure it is air tight. The airline is then connected into the aqualifter pump and a one way value and ran back into either tank. The following pictures are a close up of the design and the overall design. Hopefully you like it. Link to comment
