j_mccord
Looks amazing, william! Question. How did you get the 20 long sump to fit under the cube tank without sticking out? I'm setting up something very similar at the beginning of the year and just wanted to know. Link to comment
William
Updated photos This tank was originally set up last august when i moved here from Austin, however i never really liked my scape, so I removed most of my old rock, removed the coral from it, and started new. William
thanks, im trying to figure out what else i want to do with the tank. may remove the green chalice in the front and replace it with a tabeling acro of some kind, may also get another tube anemone for the dark area in the back and put some sun corals or a chili coral upside down on the bottom side of the overhang on the left. as far as fish go, i want and eel, most likely a golden dwarf moray or a white ribbon eel. also though about putting one of those gum drop coral crouchers in there if i can find one. also does anyone know what that purple and green brain is? i have had it for a while but dont know what it is Link to comment
William
i know its a favia, i was wondering what kind as it does not look like my other favias Link to comment
William
got a call from my LFS today that a a golden dwarf moray eel i ordered back in January came in, i couldn't resist. Ill post pics when he is not hiding. Link to comment
William
inal live stock additions (if i can find them): yellow wrasse (not sure as it may fight with my fairy) or Sailfin blenny, pike blenny, midas blenny (may get too big), canary blenny & Gumdrop coral croucher (if i can find one) Link to comment

Their smaller and really pretty. I have a midas and he is pretty big already and is alpha even over the Clowns. Beautiful tank BTW. Link to comment
Criley7
Are you worried about the eel eating anything? Link to comment
William
Are you worried about the eel eating anything? worried..... the thought has crossed my mind, but if he did eat anything it would be the shrimp or the firefish and while that would be annoying, it wouldn't kill me. so far he has shown no aggression towards them. the coral croucher might be an issue, but that fish would most likely live in my birds nest coral and is mildly venomous, so i dont think that would be as much of an issue. Deleted User 4
How's the eel doing? Love the scape. 1st thing you can sell off to make more room are those orange zoas...you have wayy too many. Link to comment
William
Eel is doing great, considering getting another! and which orange zoas are you talking about? im getting rid of the war coral on the bottom left for sure. ill probably get rid of the birds nest as well as it has bleached to this pale pink color, its still growing like crazy, but its almost white. are you talking about the ones at the top? they are on a large rock that has alot of other stuff on it as well, i guess i could just kill them with some kalk, but i would rather not :/ Link to comment
Deleted User 4
Umm, all I know is that there are a whole colony of them on the top and some near the bottom-middle right rock. Look like bam bam zoas from the pictures but can't really tell since the pictures aren't so clear. If you get rid of the top ones, you can place other sps on that spot preferrably. Link to comment
William
the ones on the top are, the ones on the bottom a a weird mix of random ones. i may kill the ones up top and put some sps up there. Link to comment

Diligent move there. Looking forward to those new sps. Should keep the ones at the bottom in my opinion. Link to comment
