Very nice frags. Especially loving the Frogspawn. Is that a Nephthea at the very left?

PS: My dog's name is Aiko. Not exactly your username I know, but I thought I'd point that out.

I think Aiko's a lovely name either way.

By the way, what lights are you using on this?

Is just T5NO. So sorry to my coral. Unable to source for T5HO 24" in my LFS, however, I'm get ready my credit for PAR38. So far, I've been using these light for 2 years and coral growth. 2x24W 10k and 2 actinic blue.

Updated.

The green hair algae never stop, and they keep on growing inside my tank. I run a lot of water change, however, useless. I assumption that the nitrate is the one that encourage the algae boom in my tank. After checking for the alternative, I decided to go for bare bottom tank.

My old light was fall inside the tank omgomgomg omgomgomg

And I get electric shock when I tried to save the tank and pulled the light out :o fortunately this didn't "pain". And I just bought a new light T5HO. LED is still very new in my country and the cost is going to kill me. Previously I thought of 150W metal halide. Since I'm going to plan for LED in near future, so I would like to go for T5 as replacement for my old light.

What kind of CUC do you have in there? I was getting a little more algae than I liked so I went and bought another 4 hermits and they went to town on the tank. If you have a CUC you just might not have enough members. Can also try cutting back on the amount of time the day lights are on a few hours a day. Reduce by 1-2 hours.

Thanks.

Previously there was a huge snail and smashed down all my coral. Hermit crab is my only CUC in the tank. I discovered this algae once I introduced 24" T5HO. Too much light? I did cut off my light from 10 hours to 7 hours per day.
